At Austin Community College, the Biology Department is dedicated to providing high-quality education and supporting student success in all biology courses. Whether you’re a Biological Sciences major preparing to transfer, a student completing Natural Sciences core courses, or a Health Sciences student fulfilling prerequisites, we’re here to help you succeed.
Our small class sizes, with no more than 24 students in lecture/lab sections and 36 students in lecture-only sections, ensure personalized attention from our experienced faculty. Our lectures and labs are linked and taught by the same faculty member for nearly all courses.
